• AF : When the currently received signals become weak, the unit
switches to another station or service (the programme may
differ from the one currently received), [10].
• AF REG : When the currently received signals become weak, the unit
switches to another station broadcasting the same programme.
• Off : Cancels.

• On : Activates Programme Search, [10].
• Off : Cancels.
• Auto : Increases the tuner selectivity to reduce interference noises
between adjacent stations. (Stereo effect may be lost.)
• Wide : Subject to interference noises from adjacent stations, but sound
quality will not be degraded and the stereo effect will remain.
• Changer : To use a JVC CD changer, [19], or an Apple iPod, [20].
• Ext In : To use any other external component, [22].
• Muting1/ : Select either one which mutes the sounds while using a cellular
Muting2 phone.
• Off : Cancels.
• Playback pauses/mutes while telephone muting is working.
7 • Normal : You can select the playback speed of the "Audiobook" sound
• Faster file in your iPod.
• Slower • Initial selected item depends on your iPod setting.
• Rear : Select if the REAR LINE OUT terminals are used for connecting
the rear speakers (through an external amplifier).
• Woofer : Select if the REAR LINE OUT terminals are used for connecting a
subwoofer (through an external amplifier).
• High PWR : Volume 00 – Volume 50
• Low PWR : Volume 00 – Volume 30 (Select if the maximum power of each
speaker is less than 50 W to prevent damaging the speaker.)
