Recording the Message Manager's Outgoing Message
(TAD MESSAGE)
Recording the Message Manager's Outgoing Message (TAD
MESSAGE) is the second step you need to follow before you can
turn on the Message Manager. Make sure your OGM (Outgoing
Message) is less than 20 seconds long.

Press Menu/Set, 8, 4.
The LCD prompts you to choose an OGM.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select TAD MESSAGE (not F/T MESSAGE).
Press Menu/Set.
This is the only setting you can select if you want to turn the
Message Manager on.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select RECORD MSG.
Press Menu/Set.

Pick up the handset to record a message.
For example: Hello. We are unable to take your call at this
time. Please leave a message after the signal. If you wish to
send a fax, please press
the start button.

Press Stop/Exit and replace the handset. The Message
Manager plays your OGM.

Press Stop/Exit.

Press Menu/Set, 8, 4.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select TAD MESSAGE (or F/T MESSAGE).
Press Menu/Set.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select PLAY MSG and press Menu/Set.
Adjust volume by pressing

Press Stop/Exit.
Erasing the Outgoing Message (OGM)

Press Menu/Set, 8, 4.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select TAD MESSAGE (or F/T MESSAGE).
Press Menu/Set.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select ERASE MSG.
Press Menu/Set.

Press 1 to erase the OGM.

Press 2 to exit without erasing.

Press Stop/Exit.
