Note:
If the unit still does not function after you
have pressed PRESET, try cleaning the
connectors which link the panel and the
main housing with a cotton swab
moistened with isopropyl (rubbing
alcohol). If it still does not work, bring the
unit to your dealer for servicing or advice.
Radio Operation
Selecting The Frequency Band
Press
BAND
button (13) to select the
desired band. The reception band will
change between FM and AM
Stereo/Mono
FM listening is generally done in Stereo
mode. However, if the signal weak or
reception is not as good as you would
like, switching to Mono mode usually
improves the overall sound quality. To
switch to Mono mode, press
button (14 or 39)
. Press it again to return
to Stereo mode.
Local/Distant
In urban settings, most stations are
strong enough and listening is done in
LOCAL mode. However, if a station
seems too distant to be received well, try
switching to DISTANT mode by pressing
the
LOC
button (1) or
