Contrast (video amplitude)

Kontrast
The satellites broadcast the signals with different
video amplitude. This results in a corresponding
contrast setting on the receiver.
The correct contrast levels are preset at the factory.
If necessary or in the case of new programming,

you can select 3 factory preset contrast levels with
the

A fourth contrast level is provided for rare cases
where the levels 1 to 3 do not allow for an optimum
setting.
The value of the selected contrast level is indicated
between brackets.

The values of the levels 1 to 3 should only be
altered if the programme positions preset with
these levels require this. The contrast of these pro-
gramme positions then will be changed.
To change the value of a preset contrast level pro-
ceed as follows:
Select the "Kontrast" line in the main menu.

Use the
keys to change the contrast value.

The TV picture in the background is displayed with
the changed contrast setting.
You can only change the entry in the line in which
the contrast level is assigned to the selected pro-
gramme position. It is not possible to change other
lines.

to store the setting.

Audio settings

Using the
keys, you can select between 32

audio settings.
The audio settings 1 to 23 are preset at the factory
(see table on next page).
If possible, you should not change these audio set-
tings as this would change the audio settings of all
programme positions having the same preset value.
