Bleeding the Fuel System

A com p le te ly bled fu e l sy s te m is
im perative fo r p e rfe c t e n gine o p e ra ­
tion. D uring op e ra tio n , th e system is
co n tin u o u s ly bled via the o v e rflo w
line.
The entire system m ust be bled
m anually after the fu e l ta n k has been
driven c o m p le te ly em pty.
N o te :

F irst, fill fu e l ta n k w ith fue l. Then
o p e ra te p rim e r p u m p u n til th e byp ass
valve on th e in je c tio n pu m p o p e n s
(h is s in g noise).
Practical Hints

Turning off Engine M anually

If the en gine c o n tin u e s o p e ra tin g in
s te e rin g lo ck p o s itio n " 0 " , op en hood
and p re ss lever m arked " S TO P" until
th e en gine stop s.
