Answering a call

Your telephone will ring (ringing tone) and the status

A message appears in the display and the status LED
flashes to indicate that there are new calls/messages.

Handsfree talking

Handsfree talking offers the following advantages:
G Before dialling, you can hear the dial tone without
having to lift the handset to your ear.
G Other people can listen in and join in the call.
G
You can place the handset on any convenient sur-
face or replace it in the base station/charging unit
with the handsfree key pressed.

key u and the status LED are lit.

Press the talk key or handsfree
key.
Simply remove the handset from
the base station/charging unit
(factory setting: "Auto talk").
Press
Dial the telephone number.
