Before Installation and Setup Making a Connection to the F-1 or a Removable Storage for the F-1 To run, these programs require a connection between the computer and the F-1 or a removable storage for the F-1. For more information on how to make the connection, refer to the owner’s manual for the F-1.
When the preparations on the computer are finished, carry out the installation procedures for this software. Expand the archived file. The file downloaded from the Roland website is a compressed ZIP-format archive. First, expand the compressed file using an archive- expansion program. Expanding the file creates a folder named “F1UtilSetup_v1xxxE” on the desktop in Windows.
