Clear, consistent print quality
• High definition, 10.2 dots/mm printing using a thermal head with high-speed
drive IC.
• Printing size of maximum 1024 × 1024 dots (about 100 × 100 mm) by standard
image memory.
• 256 gradations of black and white.
• Temperature regulating circuit allows even printing.
Two-way high-speed data transmission supported
High-speed data transmission to and from a computer which supports ECP mode.*
* ECP mode is a high-speed transmission mode. To use the printer in ECP
mode, make the pararell port settings on the computer. Refer to the
computer's manual for details.
5120 × 1024 dots printing by image memory extension
A commercially available 4 Mbyte 72-pin SIMM (Single Inline Memory Module)
can be installed, which enables printing of maximum 5120 × 1024 dots (about 500
× 100 mm) image.
To install the 4 Mbyte 72-pin SIMM, consult your dealer.
Note that the EDO (Extended Data Output) type 72-pin SIMM cannot be installed
on this unit.
To extend memory, use a 72-pin SIMM which satisfies the following
specifications.
4 Mbyte (1M × 32 bit without parity, or 1M × 36 bit with parity)

Solder coated jack (The gold coated jack may not connect tightly.)

Easy and quick paper loading
You can load paper just by opening the paper lid with the OPEN/CLOSE button
and placing the paper roll.
