    Enjoying Music in Various Play Modes You can use various playback modes to play tracks/files. Some playback modes are available simultaneously. Selecting tracks/files to be played In normal playback mode, you can play tracks/ files in sequential order. The tracks/files to be played can be selected.

    Playing tracks/files in random order In Shuffle Play mode, you can play tracks/files in random order. You can select whether to play tracks/files on all discs (or a USB device), on a specific disc, or in a specific folder. Press CD or USB. For operation via the player, press CD/USB repeatedly to select the CD or USB mode.

    Playing tracks/files repeatedly You can play track(s)/file(s) repeatedly. Repeat Play mode can be used with other playback modes. While playing or in stop mode, press REPEAT repeatedly until “REPEAT” or “REPEAT 1” appears in the display. REPEAT (Repeat All): Plays all tracks/files on the disc(s)/USB device repeatedly.

    On transportation • Be sure to remove all discs from the disc tray. • Be sure to close the disc tray. If you have any questions or problems concerning your player, please consult your nearest Sony dealer.

    Remove the disc and leave the player turned on for about an hour. • There is an incompatible disc on the tray (page 11). A disc cannot be ejected and “LOCKED” appears in the display. • Contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.
