The probe ope rates w ith an ac companying small ampli
fier to convert th e ac c urrent being measured to a pro
portional voltage. The c u rrent- to-voltage con version
factor is
th rough the probe. Cu rrent readings can thus be taken
directly from the voltage calibra tions on the voltme ter
or oscilloscope. Table 1-2 is a list of
w hich can be used with the p robe.
