Pairing your mobile phone with the
vehicle
1. Switch on the ignition.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone
and in the vehicle.
3. If necessary, make Bluetooth pre-settings on
your mobile phone, e.g. connection without
confi rmation or enable visibility of mobile
phone.
4. Think of a 4 to 16-digit number to be
entered later as a passkey. The passkey is
only required once for pairing.

7. "Add new device"
The Bluetooth name of the vehicle is shown
on the Control Display.
8. Use your mobile phone to search for
Bluetooth devices; refer to your mobile
phone's user manual for further information.
The Bluetooth name of the vehicle is shown
on the mobile phone display.
9. Select the Bluetooth name of the vehicle on
your mobile phone.
A request to enter the Bluetooth passkey
appears on the mobile phone display or via
the iDrive.

10. Enter the passkey on your mobile phone
and via iDrive.
If pairing has been successful, the phone
appears in the mobile phone list.

which mobile phones are supported by
the Bluetooth interface. Further information
