OPERATION
CHIME/ALARM MODE OPERATION
When the device is in Chime mode:
Once armed, an audible tone sounds as soon as someone enters the sensor's line
of sight. The alert will continue every 2 seconds until the person leaves the area.
Once the sensor no longer detects motion, it will reset back into the armed state.
When the device is in Alarm mode:
Once armed, the alarm sequence will begin after 2 seconds of the sensor detecting
continuous motion. This helps to avoid nuisance alarms such as animals entering
and leaving the area quickly.
After 2 seconds of continuous motion, the LED will blink for 13 seconds to allow the
operator time to disarm the device before the alarm is triggered.
Once the alarm is triggered, it will sound for 2 minutes. If motion is still detected
after that time, the alarm will continue to sound for another 2 minutes. If no motion
is detected, the alarm will reset back into the armed state.
