Attach the control unit by sliding it onto the bracket
and pushing it down to lock it in place.
IMPORTANT!
– If actuators have been reconnected or newly
connected to the control unit, the system
must be reset to ensure proper function.
12. Reset the system. Depending on the hand control
used, see 6.6 Service functions on standard hand
control, page 22 or 6.7 Service functions on hand
control with LCD, page 22.
5.5 Transport Position
NordBed Optimo and NordBed Optimo Wide only
Bed to transport position
1. Disassemble the mattress platform. See 5.1
Disassembly of mattress support platform, page 11

Place the two hooks of yellow marked half (upper
half of the mattress support platform) on the yellow
marked side tube of the base.

Place the two hooks of the green marked half (lower
half of the mattress support platform) on the green
marked side tube of the base frame.

Pull the distance stick A out of its fixation clip B and
swing it over to the opposite side.
5. Pull out the cotter pin C and push the distance stick
into the bracket from above. Let go of the cotter pin
C and make sure that the spring is fully engaged and
the distance stick is properly fixed.
6. Fold down both transport hooks D
7. Place the bed ends and side rails on the hooks D.
8. Place the mattress between the sections.
9. Place the lifting pole in the tube E on the base frame.
Transport position to bed
1. Remove lifting pole, mattress, side rails and bed ends.
2. Fold up transport hooks
3. Pull out the cotter pin C and pull the distance stick
upwards and out of the bracket.
4. Swing the distance stick A over to the opposite side
and attach it to its fixation clip B.
