Risk Radar

The Safety Radar service includes the Local hazard
warning and Traffic sign recognition functions
(available in some countries).

Through the networking of vehicles, shared anony-
mised information from other vehicles can be ac-
cessed. The PCM can therefore indicate hazards in
advance and offers optimised traffic sign display
through continuously updated data.

The following traffic flow information is displayed:
– Blue: Freely flowing traffic
– Yellow: Slow-moving traffic
– Red: Traffic jam
Displaying additional information

such as delays due to traffic jams
Additional information about this message is
displayed in the detail area on the central
display.
