Function:
Automatic mode of operation:
Output 14 (M2) switches off and the frequency is lowered by the frequency con-
verter (FC) when either the EMERGENCY STOP or the protective door is acti-
vated. Output 48 cuts off the FC (M2) supply after the time lapse t
possible to restart the system until the EMERGENCY STOP is released, the pro-
tective door is closed and the feedback loop is closed at Y64. The ON pushbut-
ton at Y34 must also be pressed after the EMERGENCY STOP has been acti-
vated.
Using the key-operated switch (initializing maintenance):
Output 24 switches off without a time delay, output 48 switches off with a time
delay (for controlled reduction of the operating speed or to switch off some of
the components of the operating mechanism).
Maintenance:
The position switches of the protective door are not evaluated. Output 24 is
switched off. Output 14 (M2) switches off and the frequency is lowered by the
FU when the EMERGENCY STOP is activated. Output 48 cuts off the frequency
converter FC (M2) supply after the time lapse t
system until the EMERGENCY STOP is released, the feedback loop is closed at
Y64 and the ON pushbutton at Y34 is pressed.
Comment:
In Category 4 it is not permissible to connect several position switches in series
(cascading) for protective door monitoring (fault detection). Each output of the
3TK2845 is configured redundantly and diversely and complies with Cat. 4. It is
possible to connect K1 and K2 or K3 and K4 respectively to one safe output
within a switchgear cabinet (fault exclusion).
