START NUMBER Switches The setting of these two rotary switches on the modem at the distant site is irrelevant. RECEIVERS CONTROLLED Switch The setting of this rotary switch on the modem at the distant site is irrelevant. OPERATION Front Panel Indicators Four indicator lights on the front panels of each modem indicate status and operation. - Page 7 (1) Turn on both modems by depressing the "1" side of the power switches on the left of the front panels. (2) On the modem at the Switcher / Controller (XMIT mode), move the DATA / Talk switch to DATA. Its On-Line indicator will light.
