Before first use

1. Place your appliance on a flat and stable surface.
2. Remove any sticker, protective foil or storage cover on your appliance
3. Plug your appliance into a earth socket.
4. Before the first use, always clean twice the appliance. Fill water into water tank to the maximum
level on the water gauge and brew water for several times without coffee powder, then discard
the water. Clean and dry all detachable parts thoroughly according to the section "CLEANING
AND MAINTENANCE". Let the appliance cool down before starting to clean the appliance with a
damp cloth; you can use a sponge humidified with a dishwashing liquid.
NOTE: It is normal that strange odor comes out from the unit for the first use.

Using your appliance

 Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
 Unroll the power cord completely.
 Insert the plug with thermostat into the appliance.
 Open the top cover and fill the water tank with drinking water. Do not fill water tank with water
to exceed max level as indicated on water gauge. The appliance can brew max 15 cups of coffee
every brewing cycle.
 Place the funnel into funnel holder and make sure the funnel is assembled in place, and then
put a paper filter into funnel correctly.
 Add proper coffee into paper filter. Usually a cup of coffee need a level spoon of coffee powder,
but you may adjust according to personal taste, and then replace the top cover.
 Insert glass carafe with lid in place onto warming plate horizontally, ensure center line of carafe
aligns with that of funnel.
 Plug the unit into an outlet.
 Press the switch, the indicator in it will be illuminated and the appliance will begin working. The
brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the switch again at any time and the indicator in
it will go off, indicating your coffee maker is off.
 After the brewing process, you can keep the coffee warm by using the keep warming function.
 To switch off the appliance, press on the ON/OFF button until the light indicator is off.
NOTE: The appliance is designed with a pause-and-serve feature, if you wish, at any time during brewing
cycle, you can temporarily remove carafe to pour and serve a cup of hot coffee. The brewing cycle will
not be interrupted and no coffee will drip from the appliance, simply replace glass carafe onto warming
plate to restart the brewing cycle, but do not remove glass carafe for longer than 30s, never return empty
carafe onto warming plate when it is still warm.
After brewing, the appliance will automatically switch to the warming mode, which will continue to keep
your coffee warm for 40 minutes. After keeping warm for 40 minutes, the appliance will be cut off
