Battery Status

A battery icon appears on the Welcome page, indicating the power
source (battery or AC adapter) your computer is currently using.
The icon appears as follows:
Your computer is currently using the battery. Approximate
battery life is displayed next
to the icon.
Your computer is currently using the AC adapter (and
simultaneously charging the
battery).
