Crosley Turntable Troubleshooting
Step 1: Power off unit, unplug power adapter from mains power. Unit will need to be left off
for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Ensure that record is clean and grooves are free of debris. Recommend using a
vinyl record brush to remove any excess debris.
Step 3: Reattach the stylus needle (image below), ensure there is no debris on the needle
and check to ensure the needle is not bent out of position.

  • Page 2 Once the needle is reseated. Please check that the needle is sitting correctly. Look at the needle part of the cartridge, you will see a small blue or black part that looks like a W shaped holder. If the needle is leaning to the left or right of this and not centred in between please delicately with the lightest of touches realign it so the needle sits back into the groove and that it is sitting between the W shaped points.
  • Page 3 Sit the arm on the arm holder so it allows the platter to spin. Whilst the platter is turning finely adjust this screw by gently turning it in small increments until the platter levels. If you hear the platter brushing against the unit, please continue to refine adjustment until the unit is balanced.
