- Page 4 Before Using for the First Time This appliance is designed for indoor/outdoor use. It is a stand-alone barbecue grill or griddle. Do not use charcoal, lighter fuel or gases with this appliance. Carefully unpack the Griddle/Grill/Roaster and remove all the packing materials. Wipe the surfaces with a clean, damp cloth or sponge, then dry with another cloth.

Warning: Be sure to unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning. After using, disconnect the power cord (9) from the outlet. Before cleaning, allow the unit to cool completely. Remove the temperature control (7) from the griddle/grill/roaster.
