1. The first step in installing the IPW (Internet Phone Wizard) is to install Skype.
Download Skype by going to
now. It's free" button.
2. Once you have clicked on the download button. Click on Save in the
download window and save the file to your desktop.
3. When the program is done downloading you can close the Skype website.
Double click on the Skype Setup program on your desktop to begin installing
Skype.

You can add contacts by clicking on tools and selecting Add a Contact. The next step will be to install the Internet Phone Wizard device.
  • Page 6 12. The first step in installing the IPW should be to insert the CD into the CD- ROM tray (although this can still be done after plugging in the IPW). Next plug in the IPW to a USB port on the computer. The computer should detect the device and bring up the Found New Hardware Wizard.
  • Page 7 13. Windows will automatically find the driver on the CD and install them. The drivers are not digitally signed so you will need to click on Continue Anyway when the Hardware Installation window comes up.
  • Page 8 14. Once completed click finish to continue the install. 15. Once the hardware wizard is complete. The Actiontec Internet Phone Wizard Setup will begin automatically. This program will install the IPW software. Click next to continue.
  • Page 9 16. This screen will register your e-mail address. You must enter an e-mail address to continue. Once you enter an e-mail address click next. 17. This screen explains that you will need to select “Allow this program to use Skype” when the IPW software connects with it. The IPW software is now installed click finish.
