Install Windows NT server 4.0 on node1
1.
Put at least one HDD on node 1.
2.
Power on node1 and begin to install Windows NT server 4.0 by using the
software "MS Windows NT server 4.0, Enterprise Edition" (Don't power
on node 2).
3.
Format the system drive to NTFS.
4.
Create the cluster domain, and then configure this node as PDC (Primary
Domain Controller).
5.
Install & configure TCP/IP protocol. You must configure two LAN Cards.
a)
Intel 82557 Chip-Based LAN Adapter (for Private Network)
For example:
IP address
: 192. 0. 0. 1
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
b)
(ii) Add-on LAN card (for Public Network)
For example:
IP address
: 192. 10. 10. 1
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
