    Inserting memory media When inserting memory media, do not touch the metal contacts. You could expose the storage area to static electricity, which can destroy data. To insert a Micro SD™ Card: Turn the media so that the contacts (metal areas) are face down. Push the media into the adapter until it locks in place.

Also known as a “TFT display,” in its simplest form there is one thin film transistor (TFT) for each cell.
  • Page 109 adapter—A device that provides a compatible connection between two units. For example, the tablet’s internal display adapter receives information from the software and translates it into images on the screen. An adapter can take a number of forms, from a microprocessor to a simple connector.
