6.22 Rotation Adjustment (Matching)

6.22.1 Setting Procedure

The procedures for detecting and setting the object are the same as those used for "Smart Matching" (see page
113). In this section, the functional differences between Rotation Adjustment (Matching 2 Point Detection)
checkers and Smart Matching checkers and instructions for test execution are described.
The Items That cannot be Set with This Feature
With the Position Adjustment (Matching) function, you cannot set the following items.
Subtraction setting (Subtraction processing cannot be done.)
When there are Multiple Objects Fulfilling the Conditions
Be sure to sort the objects. After doing this, the first sorted object is detected. Sorting can be performed in the
descending/ascending order of area, x coordinate and y coordinate. If you do not sort the objects, the PV310
cannot detect the object which comes first, resulting in an unstable inspection. Refer to page 117 for sorting
function.
Running a Test
Before saving a base position, you can perform a test to check whether or not objects were detected. When a live
image is currently displayed, import a new image first and begin the test. When a memory image is displayed, run
a test using the current memory image without capturing any images.
1.
Select "ROT. ADJ. (MATCHING)".
2.
Press the A key while the tab or item under the tab is highlighted.
If no object is detected, the following error code will appear below the message area.
E0044
Check the image to make sure that the error code above does not appear or the objects were detected.
Different Condition for Each Area
Different detect condition can be set for area 1 and area 2. However, the following items must be set the same.
