Control panel overview This control panel may differ from your machine depending on the model. Jam & Online/Error Shows the status of paper jams in your machine and the status of your machine. (See "Understanding the status LED" on page 20.) Wireless Shows the status of wireless network.

Envelopes Successful printing on envelopes depends upon the quality of the envelopes. To print on an envelope, the stamp area should be on the left side and the end of the envelope with the stamp area should enter the printer first in the center of the tray.
Exposed areas can cause labels to peel off during printing, which can cause paper jams. Exposed adhesive can also cause damage to machine components. • Do not run a sheet of labels through the machine more than once. The adhesive backing is designed for only a single pass through the machine.

Printing multiple pages on one sheet of paper You can select the number of pages to print on a single sheet of paper. To print more than one page per sheet, the pages will be reduced in size and arranged in the order you specify. You can print up to 16 pages on one sheet.
If your machine does not have a duplex unit, you should complete the printing job manually. The machine prints every other page of the document first. After that, a message appears on your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the printing job. Change percentage of your document You can change the size of a document to appear larger or smaller on the printed page by typing in a percentage you want.
