Seat Removal and Installation

Warning
To prevent detachment of the seat
during riding, after fitting always
grasp the seat and pull firmly upwards.
If the seat is not correctly secured in
the lock, it will detach from the lock.
A loose or detached seat may cause
loss of motorcycle control and an
accident.
To remove the seat:
• Insert the ignition key into the seat
lock and turn it anticlockwise. This
will release the seat from its lock.
• Slide the
rearwards for complete removal
from the motorcycle.
To refit the seat:
• Engage the
underneath the bracket near the
fuel tank.
• Line up the hinges and press down
at the rear to engage the seat lock.
Note
An audible click can be heard when the
seat is fully engaged into its lock.

The Owner's Handbook is supplied with
the motorcycle.
Tool Kit
There is an Allen key located on the
underside of the seat.
A tool kit is supplied with the motorcycle
which includes a C spanner.
