Batteries

 Low battery icon will flash empty
Battery Replacement:
No measurements are possible. The battery is low. Replace the battery immediately with a
CR2032 lithium button cell.
 Power off the thermometer before replacing the battery
 A malfunction may occur if the power is on during battery replacement. If a malfunction
occurs, restart the device.
 Twist the battery cover on the back of thermometer to loosen the cover and remove the old
battery. A coin works well to remove the battery cover.
 The new CR2032 battery is installed positive side up.
 Take care that the metal contacts at the top of the battery compartment are not bent.
 Replace the battery cover and tighten with a coin.
Messages
 Reads Hi- Ambient temperature is above 390.2 degrees Fahrenheit.
 Reads Lo - Ambient temperature is below -27.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
 Reads oFF – Automatic shut off after 15 seconds.
How to select Fahrenheit/Celsius
 This thermometer will only read in Fahrenheit.
