Save:
Clicking Save saves the new or edited Special Applications Rule in the following list. When finished
updating the Special Applications entries, you must still click the Save Settings button at the top of the
page to make the changes permanent.
With this Special Application Rule enabled, the router will open up a range of ports from 6000-6200 for
incoming traffic from the Internet, whenever any computer on the internal network opens up an application
that sends data to the Internet using a port in the range of 6500-6700.
SPECIAL APPLICATIONS RULES LIST
The section shows the currently defined special applications rules. A special applications rule can be
changed by clicking the Edit icon, or deleted by clicking the Delete icon. When you click the Edit icon, the
item is highlighted, and the "Edit Special Applications Rule" section is activated for editing.
3.2.4 ADVANCED - StreamEngine™
The StreamEngine™ feature helps improve your network gaming performance by prioritizing applications.
By default, the StreamEngine™ settings are disabled.
STREAMENGINE SETUP
Enable StreamEngine™:
This option is disabled by default. Enable it for better performance and experience with online games and
other interactive applications, such as VoIP.
Automatic Classification:
This option is enabled by default so that your router will automatically determine which programs should
