Activating/deactivating ESP (Electronic Sta‐
bility Program)

To activate ESP SPORT: briefly pull rocker

switch 1.
The å and Æ warning lamps appear in
the instrument cluster.

To deactivate ESP SPORT: briefly pull
#
rocker switch 1.
The å and Æ warning lamps in the
instrument cluster go out.
®
To deactivate ESP : pull and hold rocker
#
switch 1 until the å warning lamp and
the ESP OFF message appear in the instru‐
ment cluster.

you deactivate ESP in the I (RACE)
drive program, AMG Dynamics automatically
switches to the Master level.

AMG active adaptive sport suspension sys‐
tem
Function of AMG active adaptive sport sus‐
pension system
The AMG active adaptive sport suspension sys‐
tem is an air suspension system with variable
damping for improved driving characteristics.
The all-round level control system ensures the
best possible suspension and constant ground
clearance, even with a laden vehicle. When driv‐
ing at speed, the vehicle is lowered automati‐
cally to improve driving safety and to reduce fuel
consumption. You also have the option of man‐
ually adjusting the vehicle level.
The damping is set individually for each wheel
and is affected by the following factors:
The driving style, e.g. sporty
R
The road condition, e.g. bumps
R
The individual selection of Sport, Sport + or
R
Comfort
