CAUTION! The rechargeable battery may not be fully charged on leaving
the factory. Charge the rechargeable battery for approx 3-5 hours before first
use, or until fully charged.
If the battery pack (9) does not accept a charge when first plugged in and
connected, ie the red light does not come on, the battery pack is most likely
fully charged from the factory.
In this case it is suggested to use or run the drill for a few minutes and then re
connect to the charger. The red charging light should come on showing the
charging cycle is working correctly.
CAUTION! The working temperature of the charging operation is 0°C to 45°C.
1. Connect the power supply from the plug pack charger (11) to the charger
adaptor (10) via plugging the plug from the plug pack charger (11) into the
charger adaptor (10) housing.
Plug in the plug pack charger (11) and switch on at the power supply. The
light on the plug pack charger (11) will highlight "green" to indicate there is
power (Fig D).
2. Align the battery pack (9) with the charger adaptor (10). Insert the battery
pack and slide it firmly into position (Fig C). The light on the plug pack
charger will highlight "red" to indicate the battery is being charged (Fig E).
The battery will be ready for use up to approximately 3-5 hours.
When the battery is charged to the correct voltage the red changes to
GREEN indicating the plug pack is still connected to the turned on power
but is NOT charging
NOTE: The power to the charger should be turned off when unattended, with
or without a battery inserted.
