Parts List; Mower Deck Preparation - HUSTLER Mini FasTrak Rear Catcher Owner's Manual

These instructions apply to the assembly of the Mini
FasTrak Rear Catcher to a Mini FasTrak tractor equipped
with either a 36" or 42" side discharge deck.
It is intended that these units be installed by trained
Hustler service personnel. If additional assistance is
required, contact the Hustler Customer Service Department.
Directions given in these instructions, for example left
and right, refer to direction while seated on the tractor.
Before proceeding, read thru the following instructions to
familiarize yourself, while at the same time identify and
inventory kit parts supplied.
Unpack and inspect all parts. Notify carrier of any
shipping damages immediately.

Mower deck preparation

NOTE: Refer to the photos and parts list illustrations for
references when assembling the rear catcher to the tractor.
The reference numbers shown are used in conjunction with
the illustrations shown on page. 5.
1. Park the tractor on a flat surface. Shut off the ignition
switch and remove the key from the switch.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the side discharge chute and discharge chute
bracket. Fig. 1
NOTE: Retain these parts as they will be re-installed
when the rear catcher is removed.
3. Remove the right side blade and replace with blade
(Ref. #1) using the existing hardware. Torque blade
bolt to 118 ft.-lbs. (160.01 N
4. Attach the discharge chute (Ref. # 1) and stiffener
(Ref. # 6) to the deck using the existing flat washers
and nuts. Fig. 3 & 12
5. Attach the catcher frame (Ref. #1) and catcher lid
(Ref. #2) assembly to the tractor frame. Hook top of
catcher frame over the top edge of the engine guard.

6. Attach the snap fasteners (Ref. #3) to the discharge
chute (Ref. #1) using the hardware as shown in Fig. 6

7. Attach the discharge tube (Ref. #7) to the discharge
chute and inlet tube on the catcher lid per Fig. 6, 7 &
12. Lock in place using the snap fasteners.
8. Attach the decal (p/n 767012) to the deck in the
location shown in Fig. 8.
9. Attach the front weight (Ref. #1) to the front of the
tractor using the hardware shown in Fig. 9 & 14.
10. Slide the bags (Ref. #6) into the catcher frame and
lower the lid. Fig. 10 & 11
11. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
