POWER-OFF PROCEDURES

I nform the operator of the other system that the
channel-to-channel adapter is to be removed from
use.

Move the I/O INTERFACE switch to the DISABLE
position.

Wait for the I/O INFC DSBLD indicator to turn on.

Press the POWER OFF key.
Note:
If the system is powered-off, do not turn power back
on for at least 10 seconds. If the POWER-ON key is
pressed before 10 seconds have elapsed, a power
check may occur. This power check condition can be cor·
rected by pressing the CHECK RESET key.
