WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this
apparatus to rain or moisture.
To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet.
Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
 Use your product only with the AC adapter and power cord supplied with your
tablet device.
 To disconnect it completely, unplug the AC adapter or the power cable from mains.
 The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible.

Before using the cradle, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
See also the manuals provided with your tablet device for more information about connecting
the cradle.
Sony SGPDS1 is the cradle designed exclusively for Sony tablet devices. However, it may not be
used with some models.

Notes on use
 Do not place the unit in locations that are:
– Extremely hot or cold
– Dusty or dirty
– Very humid
– Vibrating
– Strong magnetic fields
– Sandy
– Exposed to direct sunlight
 Do not apply mechanical shock or drop the unit.

 Make sure that nothing metallic comes into contact with the metal parts of the unit. If this
happens, a short-circuit may occur and the unit may be damaged.
 Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord.
 Do not operate the unit if the unit itself has been dropped or damaged.
 Always keep the metal contacts clean.
 Do not disassemble or convert the unit.
 While in use, it is normal for the unit to get warm.
 Keep the unit away from TV or AM receivers, because it can disturb TV or AM reception.
 When connecting or disconnecting the unit, handle it carefully.
 When transporting your tablet device, be sure to remove the unit first. Moving your tablet
device with the unit installed could cause the unit to fall off, resulting in personal injury, or
damage to the unit or your tablet device.
 If there are any dust or dirt particles on the charge connector, your tablet device may not be
able to detect the cradle when it is connected (even if the particles are invisible to the eye).
If the connection seems to be poor, remove the AC power adapter, and wipe off the connector
and the area around it on both the tablet device and the unit. Commercial air dusters are also
effective for blowing away residual dust and dirt.
Be careful not to damage the connector while cleaning them.
On cleaning
Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent
solution. Do not use any type of solvent, such as alcohol or benzine, which may damage the
finish.
