To set options for displaying
appointments on the Today screen
1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Today.
2. Tap the items tab.
. Select Calendar and tap options.
Select next appointment to show only

the next appointment in your schedule, or
Upcoming appointments to show multiple
appointments.
Clear the display all day events checked.

To set options for displaying tasks
on the Today screen
1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Today.
2. Tap the items tab.
. Select Tasks and tap options.
Select the type of tasks you want to appear on

the Today screen.
in the Category list, select whether to display

only tasks assigned to a specific category or to
display all tasks.

Alarms

Time

you can view the time, day of the week and date.
from the Start menu, tap Settings > System tab
> Clock & Alarms > Time tab.
Tap the hour, minutes, or seconds, then tap the
up or down arrow to change the time setting.
Tap the down arrow in the date field to display
a calendar.
Tap a day on the calendar to select the current
date.
you can tap the left or right arrow at the top
of the calendar to move backward or forward
through the calendar.

Alarm

Tap the Clock window>Alarms tap.
Tap a check box on the left and set the weekday
and the clock you want to activate alarm.
Tap <Description> and enter a description of
the alarm, and tap the day(s) of the week you
want.
Tap to set the alarm options, such as Play sound
and display message, and tap the time field to
set the time for the alarm to sound.
