    Using Your Oven The electronic oven controls (Model BGS470W) There are three parts ln the oven control section: - The display. - The command buttons. - The TimeRemp Set Knob. Instructions for each oven control are covered on the following pages. Read them carefully.

    Models BGC430W and BGP430W: The Minute Timer does not start or stop the oven. It works like a kitchen timer. Set it in minutes to an hour. You will hear a buzzer when the set tlme is up. when setting Do not push in the knob the Minute Timer.

    The hot air must circulate around the pans in the oven for even heat to reach all parts of the oven. For best air circulation: Place the pans so that one is not directly over the other. . Allow 1 l/2-2 inches (4-5 cm) of space around each pan and between pans and oven walls.

    Baking/roasting without preheating Model BGS470W: 1. Position the rack(s) properly before turning on the oven (For more information, see item %l in “Baking with preheating” on page 7.) 2. Push the Bake Temp button. The small display will show “--On and the BAKE indicator will come on.

    The standard-cleaning oven (Model BGP430VV) The standardcleaning oven has to be handcleaned. Use warm, soapy water, soapy steel wool pads or a commercial oven cleaner. See “Cleaning Chart” on page 16 for further instructions. NOTE: Do not allow commercial oven cleaner to contact the heat seal, thermostat or exterior surfaces of the oven Damage will occur.

Before you start, make sure you understand exactly how to use the Self-Cleaning cycle safely.
