How to connect a Sonicare electric
toothbrush with a phone.
Connecting your Philips Sonicare DiamondClean smart or Flexcare Platinum electric toothbrush
to your smart phone is easy. Just follow these simple steps.
Connect with your Sonicare app
1. Download the Philips Sonicare app for Android or iOS
2. Open your Sonicare app and press the 'Brush' tab in the bottom left corner
3. Make sure your smartphone is next to your toothbrush.
4. Remove your toothbrush from the charger or press the power or mode button on your
handle. The bottom of your handle will now illuminate.
5. Your Sonicare toothbrush is now syncing. Your data will be automatically saved to your
app.
6. Check if your data is saved, by pressing the 'Progress' tab on the bottom of your Sonicare
app.
Enjoy your brushing sessions.
My Sonicare toothbrush vibrates less
powerfull than before
If your Philips Sonicare toothbrush is vibrating less powerful than before, you can often solve
this yourself. Make sure that the toothbrush is fully charged.
Disable the Easystart function
The Easystart function on your Sonicare toothbrush might be activated. Disable the Easystart
function for DiamondClean Smart toothbrushes:
1. Place your DiamondClean Smart on the charger.
2. Hold the mode/intensity button and press the power button once
3. The handle will beep once to confirm it is disabled
When the handle will beep twice, the Easystart function is enabled. Please make sure to disable
again using the instructions above.
