Always turn the power off at the power outlet before you insert or remove the
power plug. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.

timer or separate remote-control system.

Do not place your electric hotplate on or near a hot gas flame, electric element,
heated oven or any hot surface.

Do not place the electric hotplate on top of any other appliance.

Do not permit the mains supply cord or plug to touch a hot frypan or other hot
objects, or allow the power cord to lay across the electric hotplate.

Do not allow the power cord of the elecgtric hotplate to hang over the edge of a
table or bench top.

The electric hotplate must be used on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Never carry or hang the electric hotplate for storage by the power cord.

Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or any sharp instruments for cleaning
the unit. When the unit is cool to touch, the outside surface may be wiped clean
with a soft, damp cloth or sponge and then dried thoroughly If necessary, a mild
dishwashing detergent may be applied to the cloth or sponge but not directly
applied to the electric hotplate.
30. Immediately unplug the electric hotplate from mains power if malfunction
occurs.

After use, wait for the electric hotplate to cool down before moving or storing.
32. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:

Do not allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dish towels
or other flammable material during use.
