IDENTIFICATION OF SAFETY SYMBOLS Do not use with damaged cord. Repair or replace damaged cord immediately. Store unit indoors in a high, dry place out of the reach of children. Store unit unplugged. This unit is for household use only and not for commercial use. - Page 4 DANGER: RISK OF CUT; KEEP HANDS AND FEET AWAY FROM BLADE. Keep both hands on handles when power is on. Do not attempt to clear away cut material when blades are in motion. Make sure trigger switch is not engaged and power source is disconnected when removing jammed material from blades.

When operating unit, stand as shown and check for the following: S Wear eye protection and heavy clothing. S Grip rear handle with right hand and front handle with left hand. S Keep unit below waist level. STOPPING YOUR UNIT To stop the unit, release the trigger switch, al- low blades to stop, then move the hedge trim- mer away from the cutting area. - Page 8 air intakes and the cutting blade. S Wipe off unit with a clean dry cloth. STORAGE WARNING: Perform the following steps after each use. Stop the unit and disconnect the power source when not in use. Carry the unit with motor stopped.
