❐ Your skin might become infected due to penetrating bacteria.
Cleaning the epilating head before and after each use with rubbing
alcohol can minimise the risk of infection.
❐ To prevent accidents, keep the epilator away from head hair, eye-
lashes, eyebrows, textiles (e. g. clothing, curtains) as well as cables
and shoe laces.
❐ During hair removal, the affected area of skin must be held taut.
Otherwise it could become caught in the device, which could lead
to pain and injuries.
❐ Do not use the device on injured, infected, or loose skin or in the
direct vicinity of acne, moles, or varicose veins. Do not use it if you
suffer from haemophilia, diabetes, an immunodefi ciency disorder
or rosacea.
❐ Do not use the device if your skin has allergic or sensitive reactions
when it comes into contact with cosmetics, metals, or textiles.
❐ Do not use the device immediately before or during menstruation,
during pregnancy, or up to a month after giving birth. If you have
any questions or doubts, consult your doctor fi rst.
❐ When you fi rst use the device or if you use it after a long break,
hair removal may be painful.
❐ The device should only be used by one person. We do not recom-
mend that you share the device with other people.
