- Page 3 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the VTech Pop-a-Ball Pop & Drop Digger. ® This digger comes to life when the multicoloured balls are dropped into the chute. Push the digger along to see the multicoloured balls pop out through the pipe, into the scoop bucket and back again. Pressing the buttons on the digger activates fun role play responses, sounds, music and sing-along songs.

Unlock the packaging locks: Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees anticlockwise. Pull out the packaging locks. GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the Pop & Drop Digger is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the digger. - Page 6 • Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).

1. Place the handle over the slot on the digger, making sure that the storage slots on the handle are facing up. Place the two large plugs into the holes on either side of the handle. Then, using a screwdriver, secure two small screws into each of the two large plugs. - Page 8 2. Number Buttons Press the Number Buttons to learn about numbers, colours and construction objects, and to hear playful music and sounds. The light will flash with the sounds. 3. Chute Drop the multicoloured balls into the Chute and push the digger along to pop the balls out of the Pipe.
