LET'S START BY PLAYING THE DEMO SONG "SAY IT". (The demo song
automatically loads when you power-up the Juno-G. Here's how to load it manually.)
1) In the EDIT section, press the SONG button so it is lit red.
2) Press WRITE[SAVE/LOAD].
3) Press F4 [Load Song+Smpls].
4) Press F6 [LOAD] followed by F6 [EXEC].
HERE ARE SOME COOL FUNCTIONS TO SHOW WHILE THE DEMO SONG PLAYS:
Show the four stereo audio tracks in the Juno-G:
1)
Press the AUDIO TRACK button. The audio tracks will appear in the display.
2)
Press F6 [MIXER] to open the audio track mixer.
3)
Use the use four sliders to adjust the playback volume of the four audio tracks.
Change the song tempo and to show how the audio tracks will BPM match:

Press the TEMPO button.
5)
Use the DIAL to speed up or slow down the audio tracks. Press TEMPO to exit.
6)
When you are finished playing the demo song press STOP.
7)
If you wish to rewind back to the beginning, hold down STOP, then press BWD.
LET'S CHECK OUT THE PATCHES IN THE JUNO-G:
1) In the MODE section, press PATCH.
2) Use the ten CATEGORY keys below the display to select a family of patches.
3) For this example, press PIANO. Use the dial to select, PR-A:004 "A'live Piano".
4) Press the AUDITION key in the MODE section to preview the sound.
5) Use the steps above to check out the following patches:
RHYTHM: USER:012 "HipHop&Latin" • GUITAR: PR-A:113 Cmp Stl Gtr"
ORCH: USER: 003 "Magestic Str" • VOCAL/PAD: PR-F:038 "Flange Dream"
SYNTH: PR-E:079 "TranceSaws ", BASS: PR-B:099 "Super-G DX"
Note: You can also adjust the CUTOFF and RESONANCE knobs while auditioning patches..
HERE'S HOW TO USE THE PRESET RHYTHM PATTERNS TO DEMO SEQUENCING:
1) In the EDIT section, press SONG, then press MENU.
2) Press F2 [SONG CLEAR]. Press F6 [EXEC].
3) Use the UP or DOWN CURSOR to select Track 10.
4) Under EDIT press RHYTHM PATTERN and use the DIAL to select "P17: Hip Hop 2"
5) Press REC in the SONG RECORDER section.
6) Use the DOWN CURSOR to select "Count In". Use the DIAL to change to "OFF".
7) Press PLAY and the sequencer will start playing and recording the Rhythm Pattern.
8) Press [F6] CLOSE to exit the REAL TIME CONTROL screen.
9) Use the six "PAD" buttons to trigger different variations of the Rhythm Pattern.
10) When finished, press STOP. Hold down STOP and press BWD to rewind.
11) Press PLAY to listen back to the drum sequence recording you just made.
