TROUBLE SHOOTING
The fuel pump fails to operate.
TIP~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~-
Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Seat
2. Side cover (letVr:ight)
3. Air scoop (lefVright)
4. Fuel tank
1. Check the fuse.
Refer to "CHECKING THE FUSE"
on page 9-65.

Replace the fuse.
•·clean the battery terminals.
• Recharge or replace the battery.
Replace the main switch.
Replace the engine stop switch.
Replace the fuel pump.
Properly connect or repair the fuel pump
system's wiring.
