1. Notes when you operate Universal RAID Utility
When you operate Universal RAID Utility on Windows environment, you may not be able to manage RAID system on Universal RAID Utility after you
operate something on Universal RAID Utility, such as creating or deleting Virtual Drives, making a Hot Spare disk and so on. Check the system log
on OS Event Viewer and if you find an event log as described below, reboot the system or restart Universal RAID Utility service according to the
description in "1-2 How to restart Universal RAID Utility".

Check if the event described below has been logged on the system log.

Description
It became unable to manage the RAID System due to a fatal error on the operating system.
1-2. How to restart the Universal RAID Utility service
Click the [Start] menu - [Control Panel] - [Administrative Tools] - [Services].
Select the "Universal RAID Utility" service and then select [Action] and [Restart].
