[3] -2. Replacing Armature and Drum
CAUTION: Be careful not to cut yourself on the sharp edges on the front faces of Drum.
DISASSEMBLING
1) After removing Poly V-belt, remove;
Chip cover, Brush holder caps and Carbon brushes, M4x25 Pan head screw (1pc.), then four M5x14 Pan head screws.
Now Motor housing can be separated from Main frame. (Fig. 6)

2) Lock Drum by putting Round Bar for Arbor 10-50 ( No.1R284) on the concave portion of Drum.
Then Remove V-pulley 5-32.4 by turning counterclockwise with Wrench 17. (Fig. 5)
3) Remove the assembly of Drum and Bearing box by unscrewing four M4x14 pan head screws. (Fig. 6)

4) Remove Bearing box from Drum using
Gear Extractor, large (No.1R045). (Fig. 7)
