Multi-channel Sound (MTS) broadcasts
enhance TVviewing bybringing y ouprograms
withhighfidelity stereo sound. M TS also
provides a nextra channel called theSecond
AudioProgram (SAP), which broadcasters can
usetotransmit asecond language orforother
purposes.
Press MTSontheremote control to
select S TEREO, MONO, or SAP. A llthe
options willbeavailable onlywhen the
current TVchannel is broadcasting that
option. C hannels willnotalways carry
programs thathave alltheMTS options.
If STEREO a ppears o nthescreen when
youselect a channel, stereo broadcasting
isavailable w iththecurrent T Vprogram.
Youcanhear s ound from theleftand
right s peakers o ftheTV.
If thebroadcast is notstrong or clear,
stereo sound is notavailable. Press t he
MTS button to change t o MONO. This
should eliminate thenoise.
If MONO appears o nthescreen when
youchoose achannel, Stereo isnot
available.
If SAP appears w hen youselect a
channel, Second A udio Program
broadcasting isavailable f orthecurrent
TVprogram.
Press theMTS button to choose SAP and
youmayhear t heprogram ina different
language orsomeother a udio.
