Note :
when "MIC" is selected as the recording source, a
"Voice" directory will be automatically created.
When "LINE IN" is selected as the recording source,
an "Audio" directory will be automatically created.
When performing an FM recording, a "Radio"
directory will be automatically created. The recorded
files will be saved to corresponding directories.

Setting
Recording Setup includes: VAD setup and Quality
(figure13).
VAD setup (applies to MIC recording only):
1) Press [+/–] to select "VAD setup" and press [
to enter the submenu. Press [+/–] to select "VAD
on" or "VAD off". Press [
Recording setup submenu. When VAD is on,
recording will not start until the volume level of
the external signal exceeds a threshold set by the
system. When VAD is off, the unit will start
recording when "start recording" is pressed
