Your New Washing Machine Your new washing machine meets all modern requirements for effective treatment of laundry with low water, energy and detergent consumption. The programme selector dial combines the function of programme and temperature selection, making it easier to set the programme. The programme progress display shows the washing phase and the end of the programme . -

The Control Panel 1 Detergent dispenser drawer Programme Option buttons Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined. These must be selected after choosing the desired programme and before depressing the “start pause” button. When these buttons are pressed, the corresponding pilot lights come on. -

After the machine has started, only the running phase pilot light stays on. When the pilot light “wash” comes on this means that the machine is performing the washing phase. If you have selected the “prewash” function, this light will be on during the prewash phase too. -

Operating Sequence Before the first wash, we recommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment the detergent drawer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton cycle at 60°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. -

WASHING 2 KG OF MIXED FABRICS AT 50°C Suppose you have 2 kg of lightly soiled mixed fabrics to wash. They are rather delicate fabrics and should not be washed at a high temperature. 1. Load the laundry Open the door by pulling the door handle outwards. Place the laundry in the drum, one item at a time, shaking them out as much as possible. -

Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. You are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscrew and remove the two rear bottom screws. -

Water inlet Connect the hose to a tap with a 3/4” thread. Do not use previously used hoses for water connection. Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations’ requirements. The appliance must be connected to a cold water supply. -

If you intend the drain hose to empty into a sink, make sure that the sink is empty and the plug hole is not blocked. Use the plastic “U-Piece” supplied. The drain hose must not be kinked.
