Cleaning
NOTICE!
The grinding mechanism must not be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Never use hard objects to clean the grinding mechanism.
6. Clean the removed parts with the cleaning brush
After you have carefully removed the grinding mechanism, re-
sidual coffee grounds inside of the grinding mechanism can
be carefully removed.
Coffee oil is created when coffee beans are ground. This leaves
residues in the grinding chamber. The coffee oil needs to be
removed on a regular basis using the brush.
You can also vacuum the grinding mechanism carefully with a
vacuum cleaner.
7. Set the coffee distributor
turn it anti-clockwise to lock it in via the engagement position.
8. Insert the grinding mechanism by proceeding as follows:
- Hold onto the grinding mecha-
nism and turn the degree of grind-
ing pre-selection
grinding mechanism as shown, as
far as it will go.
- Insert the grinding mechanism
into the espresso machine as illus-
trated.
- Now, turn the grinding mecha-
nism clockwise (seen from the top)
to let it engage.
