From the menu, to disable alert tones, select All Alert Tones → x.
All Alert Tones is off and the Voice Announcement sounds.

From the menu, to enable Do Not Disturb (DND), select DND →
If DND is on, your radio shows the following indications:
•
Voice Announcement sounds.
•
The LED displays a blinking green light and amber light periodically.
