Symptom (DVD)
Playback doesn't start
No picture
No sound
Picture is distorted during fast reverse/forward
playback
Stopping playback, search, slow-motion play, A-B
repeat play, or changing angles, etc. cannot be
performed
No on-screen display

The TV or remote operation key is not functioning
Playback does not start when the title is selected

Solution
• No disc is loaded.
• The disc may be dirty. Clean the disc.
• The TV cannot play CD-ROMs, etc.
• TV selector is not set correctly.
• Make sure the input selector of the amplifier is set
properly.
• The TV is in the special playback mode.
• Select the correct Audio Output/Input position on
AV Amplifier.
• The picture will be distorted occasionally.
• Some discs may not perform certain functions.
• Select Display On.
• The setup does not match your stereo system.
• Turn off the TV and unplug the AC power cord for
several is not functioning minutes, then replug it.
• Check the Rating Level setup.
• Multilingual language is not recorded on the DVD
disc.
• Some discs have no subtitles.
• Subtitles are cleared. Press SUBTITLE.
• Multi-angles are not recorded on the DVD discs.
